Allotment Rents – how to pay 2022

By paying rent you agree to the rules of tenancy of Kettering Allotments.
Your membership subscription to the Society entitles you to voting rights as described in our constitution.

  • Rent is due on 1st January 2022
  • Rent is  £3 per pole (no change on last year)
  • membership subs remain £2 per member, so total for a 10 pole plot is £32
  • total for a small (5 pole) plot is £17 per year
  • new members  pay £25 deposit, to be returned when the plot is vacated with no rubbish to clear and the gate key returned
  • If you do not pay rent your plot will be re-let to someone on the waiting list
  • You must include a reference of your name and plot number
  • You can pay online SORT 40-26-07 account 2049 8254 
  • You can pay by cheque, post to the treasurer (address below)

If paying by post, please post your cheque, payable to Kettering Allotments to the treasurer

EG for John Pumpkin of plot 1 on Scott Road, the reference would be PumpkinS1

If you do not pay your rent, your tenancy will be terminated and your plot will be let to someone on the waiting list.

The rent is due annually in January and rent collection and tenancy renewal letters are posted in December to give details of where to post your cheques and how payments can be made. Prompt payment ensures that you keep your plot.

You may be able to pay via your field steward.

Cheques should be payable to Kettering Allotments. Remember to include your annual subscription ( £2 )

If you do not pay by January 16th, your plot may be let to somebody else on our waiting list.
